The synergy solution

How to deliberately secure alignment, in the face of conflict: teamwork, partnerships, conflict resolution:

1. The problem with working together synergistically is the misalignment of objectives and means of securing them.
2. The intuitive solution is for each party to push its own agenda.
3. The consequence is antagonism, because of the apparent conflict in objectives and approaches.
4. The counter-intuitive solution is to use conceptual prototypes to surface the shared objectives and integrate approaches.
5. The prosequence is significantly more robust approaches and dramatically better results for both parties, because of the inherent compatibility of goals and approaches.
